War Pass Marches to Juvenile Victory
Once more, War Pass has proven that no one can run with him. Robert LaPenta's undefeated colt set a fast pace on a sloppy Monmouth Park strip and took command early on the far turn, finishing up nicely to register a 4 3/4-length in the $2 million Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) Oct. 27.

Futurity: Kodiak Kowboy Tries to Extend Juvenile Lead
Kodiak Kowboy has already established himself as the clear leader of the juvenile division. Now the son of Posse, out of Coronado’s Quest mare Kokadrie, will try to further cement that distinction as he headlines a field of six in the $250,000 Futurity Stakes (gr. II) Sept. 15 at Belmont Park.

No Stopping Georgie Boy in Del Mar Futurity
In an evenly matched field of 2-year-olds, Georgie Boy broke through to turn the tables on his rival Salute the Sarge, winning a blanket finish to the $250,000 Del Mar Futurity (gr. I) on Sept. 5, closing day of the 2007 summer season at the Southern California track.

Majestic Warrior Roars to Hopeful Win
When highly-touted 2-year-olds Ready's Image and Maimonides hooked up at the top of the Saratoga stretch, it seemed that a memorable duel was in the making, one that could vault one of them to the top of the juvenile standings. But like a blur, the picture changed, as Majestic Warrior came from the clouds, roaring down the middle of the racetrack to capture the $250,000 Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) in electrifying fashion.

Vinery's Lantana Mob Strangles Sapling Rivals
Lantana Mob had the most experience in the $150,000 Sapling Stakes (gr. III) for 2-year-olds at Monmouth Park, and that could have spelled the difference for the Steve Asmussen-trained colt as he coasted to victory over six rivals.

Wicked Style Won't Be Denied in Arlington Futurity
Wicked Style may have been light on experience heading into the $198,500 Arlington-Washington Futurity (gr. III) but the 2-year-old showed plenty of grit, fighting back after being overtaken in the stretch to defeat Riley Tucker by a head at Arlington Park Sept. 1. .

Salute the Sarge Takes Command in Best Pal
Undefeated Salute the Sarge, taking advantage of a couple of key scratches, wore down odds-on favorite Georgie Boy close to home to win the $147,000 Best Pal Stakes (gr. II) for 2-year-olds on the Del Mar Polytrack Aug. 12.

$2.5-Million Storm Cat Colt Earns Maiden Victory
The Leopard, a Storm Cat colt purchased for $2.5 million at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Select 2-year-olds in training sale earlier this year, scored in an impressive maiden special weight victory at Saratoga Aug. 11.

Maimonides Scores Impressive Debut Win Maimonides, a $4.6-million yearling purchase, won by 11 1/2 lengths in his maiden debut at Saratoga. It was a welcome boost for trainer Bob Baffert.
